  VOTING ON FACEBOOK:

  Winners of the Home and Business/Organization categories will each be chosen based on the total number of “Likes” (thumbs up, smiley faces, love indicators) from posts on the GACC Facebook page. (Negative emojis will be ignored.)   Voting will begin on November 29, 2020 and last until December 21, 2020 at 8:00pm.
  
  FOLLOW THE LIGHT TRAIL:

  The light trail will be mapped by the addresses provided and displayed by neighborhoods.  The neighborhood category with the greatest number of participating homes on 12/21/2020 will receive a banner declaring their winning status of “Grayson’s Merriest and Brightest in 2020”. (Only addresses will be listed, no homeowner names will be shown.)

• How to participate in the Grayson Merry & Bright Christmas Light Trail 

1. Decorate your home/yard and business for Christmas so that it can be seen from your street.  
   
2. REGISTRATIONS FOR THE 2020 TRAIL HAVE CLOSED. Go vote for your favorite locations! Register your decorated home or business using this form.  You must include your address and a photo of your decorated property and indicate the neighborhood where you reside.  (Homeowner names will not be displayed.) Have trouble accessing the form to enter? Download the form and email it instead.
3. Encourage your neighbors to join the festivities and register their homes, to create a “Christmas Light Trail” through your neighborhood.  The neighborhood with most participating properties can win the “Merriest and Brightest Neighborhood” banner.
4.  Claim your trail participation yard sign from the Chamber office at the Grayson Welcome Center Cabin during working hours. 
5. Light Up your home/business from 6-8 nightly, November 29, 2020 through Christmas Day.
6. Find and Vote for your decorated home or business photo on Facebook at “Merry and Bright Light Trail” and encourage others to vote for you.
7. Drive, View and Enjoy the beautiful light trails around Grayson, from 6pm – 8pm nightly.
8. Vote for your favorite homes on Facebook.

PRIZES: The winning home will receive $250 cash and a yard sign proclaiming their winning status. 2^nd and 3^rd place will receive cash prizes of $100 and $50, respectively.  The winning business and winning organizations will receive a trophy and a “Voted Merriest and Brightest” yard sign to display.

Each Friday during the weeks of the Light Trail, a random Home Entry will be selected from registered participants to receive $75 in "Grayson Bucks" -- gift certificates good for purchases at local businesses.
