Chamber Opposes 1% Increase to Grayson Payroll Tax

Chamber advocacy in action! Proposed Payroll Tax increase no longer a budget strategy by City

A new budget proposal by City of Grayson reduces shortfall without need to increase payroll tax an additional 1%

(August 9, 2022) Chamber Board Members in attendance at Tuesday evening's Grayson City Council meeting report that the Council has identified other strategies and funds to address a expected budget shortfall. Plans to increase the payroll tax requirements by the City have been abandoned.
